Happy Halloween! (Better late than never).

This is one of Josh's favorite holiday's. Josh and Maddie carved a pumpkin together and this is how it went:
Maddison got excited to open it
She was curious to see the inside.

Maddison thought this was funny. (She has a really good sense of humor).

Maddison got bored and decided to walk around singing 'Twinkle, Twinkle little star'.

Maddison's favorite part was being able to see the pumpkin glow at night.

We went to our Halloween party this year and Maddison enjoyed being around the other children. Josh to her 'trunk or treating' and she said 'tick a teat' at every car. I borrowed this costume from a friend and I thought it was adorable but Maddison refused to wear the wings and the antenna's.

  3. It is an adorable costume! Madison looks soooo cute! We have a picture of Ashley at Madison's age totally going to town in a pile of pumpkin goo and seeds! I think when most of our kids were Maddie's ages we simply let them paint the pumpkins. We didn't start carving pumpkins until the oldest two were in 1st grade. Of course, that meant that the younger kids were carving pumpkins sooner because who wants to PAINT a pumpkin when you can CARVE a pumpkin, right? Anyway, Austin completely scooped out and carved his pumpkin totally and completely by himself and he is only 5.
